We are thrilled to celebrate the success of three alumni from our  TV and Film Fusion course. Kimberlea, Louise, and Luca have all landed their first red carpet Runner roles working on the Paralympics Homecoming Ceremony in Birmingham, marking an exciting start to their careers TV and Film careers.

As part of the course, they spent several weeks getting a backstage pass to the world of TV and film. From learning how different genres are brought to life from a single-camera setup, a buzzing studio production, or the high-stakes energy of big-budget dramas. They got a crash course on everything that happens behind the scenes, preparing them for their first exciting runner roles.

Following their training, they received employability support, including CV clinics, to help build industry-focused CVs with the guidance of our NEW Talent Manager, Danny Roberts, they were connected to this fantastic opportunity.

“I highly recommend to do the course with Mission Accomplished as unlike other providers they stay with you long after to help find you roles in TV. I enjoyed my job on the Paralympics Homecoming Concert as I got to work with the athletes to go on stage at the start of the show. I also got to be a stand-in during rehearsals and had Adam Hill (presenter of The Last Leg) pretend to interview myself and others. It was pretty surreal and a privilege”– Louise

It was an incredible opportunity, and I’m truly grateful to have worked on such a fantastic event. It was wonderful to connect with Maria Needle, who was one of the vision mixers.”- Kimberlea

“The staff members from Mission Accomplished, Create Central and BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy were instructive yet simultaneously encouraging in how I can develop, refine and gain new skills from the TV and Film Fusion training course. This includes, unscripted/scripted film/TV production, mobile first content and vision mixing.I have recently completed my experience as a red carpet runner for the Paralympic GB homecoming event at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham and increasingly, I have further improved my confidence, determination, motivation and purpose in wanting to enter the film/TV/media industry.I am ready for the future.”- Luca

At Mission Accomplished, we couldn’t be prouder of them.

Stay tuned—this is only their opening act!
